The decision to disband TK Clan altogether was discussed amongst active members shortly before it actually occurred.
Last month, Khaoz, Blizzard and myself brought up issues in regards to the current and future state of TK Clan. Khaoz and Blizzard, within TK Clan's final few weeks of activity, were effectively Co-Leaders. We agreed, due to the lack of active players and lack of potential players to recruit, that TK Clan would be better off disbanded. We did not seek opinions from anyone else in the clan because of their inactivity.
I have considered handing my leadership position to another member who'd satisfy my two criteria: Firstly, being an active, mature and responsible member of the clan and community and secondly, someone I trust. As no remaining members remotely satisfied the activity part of the first criteria, it was clear TK was to be disbanded altogether.
I officially disbanded the clan around the end of July. I did not make a thread on the forums as I did not see it was necessary. Members were inactive both in-game and on the forums. Active members Khaoz, Blizzard and shortly after, PaN61, were notified of my decision.
We have spent the better half of the last two weeks considering offers from other clans in the community, who have kindly and swiftly offered Khaoz, Blizzard and myself offers for a position in their respective clans.
As you can see, Khaoz and myself have chosen to accept eClan's offer to apply. Blizzard has joined Kill Stealers.
TK disbanded not because we wanted to 'ditch' it, but because there was no alternative. The continual inactivity from its members did not help.
